The Jigawa state Governor, Muhammad Abubakar Badaru, has described the victory of Simon Lalong, as the defeat of ‘gang-ups’ in Plateau state.
He said Lalong, will always win in an election because he is loved by the electorates.
Governor Badaru, made the statement at Lalong campaign office, shortly after Lalong was declared winner of the Gubernatorial election.
“It is the tradition of the APC, in every election to assign some Governors to go to states, so that they can support the Governor in that state that is contesting election,” he said.
According to Badaru, he felt so happy when the APC sent him to Plateau state, adding that he knew that the job will be easy, “because I know that the election is won already.”
He described Lalong, as most respected member of the Progressives Governors Forum.
He said “is so humble, simple, kind and detribalized. He puts the People of Plateau state, before himself. So we know that whatever gang-up, they have on him, he will always triumph,” he said.
He thanked the People of Plateau state for confirming the victory of Lalong to continue with his good policies of moving the state forward, urging the People to accord him the maximum support and cooperation.
