Lamella signs fresh Spurs deal

Tottenham Hotspur forward Erik Lamela has signed a contract extension at the North London club.
The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on a new four-year contract that will take him to 2022.
The news of his contract extension was revealed by the Premier League side via a tweet which read: “We are delighted to announce that @eriklamela has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2022.” The Argentine forward becomes the latest Tottenham player to sign a new contract at the club after Son HeungMin, Harry Kane, Kyle Walker-Peters, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks and Cameron Carter-Vickers.
Erik Lamela has become an important squad player at Tottenham since joining from Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma in the summer of 2013.
He recently returned from a long-term hip injury last season and went on to score 4 goals and provide seven assists in 33 games in all competitions
