Landmark varsity removes tuition for Agric Science students

The founder and chancellor of Landmark University, Omu Aran, Bishop David Oyedepo has reportedly given instructions to the university to remove tuition for all Agricultural Science students in the institution. The tuition-free programmes will take effect from 2018/2019 academic session.
The university also stated that all agricultural courses in the university, such as Crop Science, Animal Science, Agric Extension and Rural Development, Agric Economics, Agribusiness Management, Environmental & Natural Resource Economics, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, Tourism and Recreation, Horticulture and Landscape Management will now be run free of charge.
Prospective students who want to study any of these courses in the school were advised to contact the admission unit for more information about the tuition-free programmes.
Landmark University is the second university to be established by Bishop Oyedepo who is also the founder and chancellor of Covenant University, Ota.
During the celebration of his 60th birthday in November 2014, Oyedepo announced that he intended to establish seven universities.
Reiterating his plan in November 2018, he said that the need to avoid having too many students on one campus drives his decision to establish seven universities across the country.
