Late Adeleke’s brother, Ademola, joins Osun guber race

The younger brother of late Isiaka Adeleke, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has declared intention to contest governorship election come September 22 in Osun state.
He made the declaration yesterday when he visited the Secretariat of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osogbo, the state capital. Already, Senator Ademola had submitted his letter of intent to the national Secretariat of the party in Abuja. While speaking in Osogbo, he said he was at the state secretariat to visit the executives of the party, saying he would come to the Secretariat to declare his ambition. He promised to give priority to agriculture and education, if he becomes Governor of Osun state.
“I have not used one year at the Senate, I have sponsored many bills. I have sponsored a bill on youth empowerment. I have also sponsored a bill on state policing where a police would be posted to their state. He said supremacy of the party would be established, promising that he would allow party to select members of the state executive. Advising other aspirants to unite and send All Progressives Congress away, the governorship hopeful said he would support whoever emerged as the party candidate. He boasted that he has fulfilled all the promises he made during the campaign for the Senate, saying “I have learnt from my late brother to always fulfil promise.
“I promised to provide N250 million scholarship and I did it. I am building schools across the Osun West. As I am talking here, there is 20 transformers ready for distribution.
