Late Premier League offer delays Ahmed Musa’s move

Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa is now studying late offers from the Premier League just as he was about to conclude a return to top Russian club CSKA Moscow.

The Eagles skipper has been a free agent since late last year after his contract with Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr was mutually terminated two years before it was to run out.

Ahmed Musa moved to Saudi Arabia soon after his heroics at the 2018 World Cup in Russia as he did not have a future at Premier League side Leicester City.

Russian army team CSKA Moscow will always to be home to the speedy winger because that was where he first made a name for himself internationally.

It was also at CSKA he returned to on loan when he found the going tough at Leicester City.

‘Myka’, as he was nicknamed in Russia, has many fond memories of his time at the army club.
