A special Assistant to President of the Senate, Alhaji Lawan Usman Hassan, has hailed Senator Ahmad Lawan for attracting projects to Yobe North Senatorial District.
Hassan stated this Saturday in Damaturu during a seminar organized by Zone A Youths Solidarity for Senator Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan.
Hassan revealed that” it must be accepted that he is first and foremost a representative of the good people of yobe North Senatorial District who voted him and he is doing credibly well in the job so far.
He further said, people f chose to forget some of the projects senate president f facilitated to the entire Yobe state.
“In 2022, the president of the Sponsored a four weeks training for 1000 youths across the state in GSM phone repairs, software and entrepreneurial development.
“The training took place simultaneously in Gashua, Damaturu,and Potiskum. At the end, trainees were given starter kits. There were also an empowerment programme that covered the entire state. The president of the Senate appointment of aides also not restricted to his Senatorial District. He has appointed one Special Assistant each from Potiskum, Fika, Fune, Gujba and Gulani local government areas.
“It is there not true to say that other part of the state have been neglected. He called on the Youths to work hard to separate the chaff from the grain, and should not allow themselves to be carried away by cheap political propaganda which does the state no good. As a leaders of tomorrow, they should shun the temptation of sowing the seeds of discord,” he added
He thanked the organisers of the programme for given him the opportunity to share his thought.
