All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, has mocked the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council for allegedly being bereft of concrete issues to campaign on.
Reacting to the Council’s comment on the leaked audio tape making the rounds about the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi’s purportedly criticising President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC chairman said the PDP was afraid of Ameachi’s political clout and dynamism stressing that the former River State governor was giving them sleepless night.
According to the former Edo State governor, Ameachi’s position and his ability to rally the nation behind Buhari has immobilized the PDP and as such he believes the position held by Ameachi in the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation was causing the opposition sleepless nights.
In a tweet yesterday via his official Twitter handle, @A_Oshiomhole, the former Governor of Edo State asked those circulating such information to do more.
He also alleged that that resort to false claims was the ‘Dubai strategy’ noting that it has fallen flat and was not working for the PDP.
Oshiomhole, in a post liked by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Senior Special Adviser on Diaspora Matter, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, said, “Rotimi Amaechi giving some people headache. This #DubaiStrategy isn’t working, tell them to do more.
“For the avoidance of doubt, Buhari taking us to the #NextLevel is non-negotiable. And truth is, we have even more than #44reasonstoreelectbuhari. No alternative.”
Amaechi, a key political ally of Buhari and the director-general of the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation, was allegedly caught on tape portraying President Buhari as a dismal failure who has been unable to meet the expectations of various segments of the society.
