Leke James shines again, bangs more goals in Europe

Inform Nigerian striker Leke James weekend scored a brace for Norwegian club champions Molde to beat Bodo/Glimt 4-2.

The Kaduna-born striker scored in the eighth and 87th minutes.

Molde had won the championship with game to spare. James is already being monitored by Super Eagles technical crew for invitation any moment from now.

James finished second in the goals race with 15 league goals, six goals behind the Goal King in Norway.

“I thank God for empowering me once again. I’m fully back to my best. I’m ready for further challenges in any part of Europe.

“Playing for my country will be a great honour,” he said.

Despite the loss on the final day of the season, Bodo/Glimt finished runners-up and will feature in the UEFA Europa League in the coming season.
