Let Jonathan’s transformation agenda run till 2019, says PDP chieftain

Former governorship aspirant in Edo state and national coordinator of Goodluck to Goodluck (G2G) project 2015, Major General Charles Airhiavbere (rtd), yesterday called on Nigerians to give President Goodluck Jonathan the opportunity to ensure that his transformation agenda runs its full course till 2019.

Speaking with journalists shortly after the G2G meeting held in Abuja, Airhiavbere boasted that President Jonathan will win 2015 presidential election.

He explained that the G2G project 2015 meeting was held to harmonise the zones with the National Working Committee so that the group can have a focus direction and a strategy to ensure that all the states are key into the project.
“The transformation agenda is something that is on course and I believe we should give him the opportunity to ensure that the transformation runs its full course till 2019.

“The G2G is Goodluck will hand over to Goodluck in 2015. This the key and the aim of the organisation. That is what we intend to achieve by 2015. The President will emerge by the grace of God as the candidate of the PDP, that is why the PDP is being restructured despite the challenges to ensure that he emerges from the primary as the candidate of the party.

“With the transformation agenda in place, the President has taken us from an unknown position to a known position and I think from the Constitution the President has the opportunity, has the right to re-contest for another four years so that the transformation agenda for the country is completed.
