Two prominent candidates in Saturday’s governorship in Edo state, Godwin Obaseki, and Osagie Ize-Iyamu have already cast their votes at their nearest polling units.
While incumbent governor Obaseki is of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ize-Iyamu is the flag bearer of All Progressives Congress (APC).
Meanwhile, there are reports of clashes between supporters of PDP and APC due to vote buying and ballot snatching allegations at various polling units.
