Kano Pillars came from behind to beat visiting Asanti Kotoko football club of Ghana 3-2 during the preliminary stage of CAF Champions Leagu.
Another Nigerian club side, Niger Tornadoes, lost 1-2 to visiting Guinea’s Santoba football club during Saturday’s CAF Confederation Cup match.
Also, Enyimba international football club lost away narrowly to Rahimo football club in Burkina Faso.
The match ended 1-0 in favour of homers Rahimo.
