#Live: Voters resist COVID-19 protocols as Akeredolu, wife vote… rain delays Jegede at polling unit

Voters are currently defying COVID-19 at the ongoing Ondo governorship election.

Though many trooped out to vote but are clustered on the queue of various polling units.

Meanwhile, Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and wife have cast their votes in Owo, while the governorship candidate of Peoples democratic Party (PDP) Eyitayo Jegede was meant to wait when he arrived his polling unit located at Sacred heart 009 ward Gbogi/Isinkan 1 Akure South LGA to vote due to heavy downpour.

Governor Akeredolu is contesting under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
