I’ ll give meaning to leadership, Nigeria’s unity – Lamido

Former governor of Jigawa state and presidential aspirant under the Peoples Democratic Party, Sule Lamido, has pledged to add meaning to leadership and unite Nigerians.
He stated this in the executive council chambers of Government House, Jalingo when he paid a courtesy call on Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku recently.
According to him, for a purposeful leadership to be actualised, the Nigerian electorate must use their voting right to flush President Muhammadu Buhari out of government.
He advised that Nigerians have tested the two major political platforms in the country and did not need anybody to talk to them on what to do to effect a positive change.
He said it was unfortunate that “Buhari has turned the country into a killing field that confronts citizens in all parts of the country and yet he is not bothered that human lives are wasted daily as children are orphaned by this heartlessness.” Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku assured Nigerians that the PDP would provide the purposeful leadership desired by all, and described Lamido as an ambassador of the masses, who always put the people first.
He explained further that at appropriate time, God would guide delegates of the PDP to choose an acceptable presidential candidate for the forthcoming general election next year.
Earlier in his speech, the director general Sule Lamido presidential campaign organisation Musa Elayo said they were in Taraba to consult with the people of the state on the aspiration of Lamido.
Speaking on the virtues of the presidential aspiration on Lamido, the DG said the former governor has passion for the unity and collective development of the country.
