Lobi Stars have appointed Solomon Ogbeide as their new head coach after Godwin Uwua resigned his post recently. Coach Ogbeide’s appointment, according to a statement signed by secretary of the board, Terzungwe Chugh, is based on merit, having considered his relevant and wealth of experience in Nigerian football Coach Ogbeide holds a bachelors degree in physical education and possesses several football coaching certifi cates including the CAF Licence A.
Some of the clubs he has handled in the past before his latest appointment include Sunshine Stars Sure, Akwa United, Warri Wolves, Bayelsa United and Sharks. He is currently the secretary general of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA)
