Malaysian varsity assures A’ibom undergraduates scholarship

A Malaysian University consultancy services has said it would  offer scholarship opportunities to brilliant undergraduates from Akwa Ibom state wishing to continue their education in the institution.

The management of a Port Harcourt based consultancy firm, McDyke Educational Consultant, made the disclosure during a one-day exhibition in Uyo.

The firm assured that there are academic vacancies for Nigerian students wishing to study various courses in MAHSA University, Selangor.

The one-day exhibition was held Monday at the main auditorium of the federal Secretariat Uyo, the State capital.

The managing director of McDyke Educational Consultant, Mr. Jerry Dike, hinted that the University offers scholarship and employment opportunities to both undergraduates and graduates students who excel in their chosen discipline.

Dike appealed to the government of Akwa Ibom State to partner with the University by enrolling students from the state for scholarships and training programmes for graduates who may wish to embark on post-graduate studies overseas.

He revealed that plans were ongoing within the management level of the institution to establish a centre in Akwa Ibom, considering its peaceful atmosphere and its fast rising profile as an investment destination in Nigeria.

He said that the University offers scholarship and automatic employment to both undergraduates and graduates who excel in their chosen discipline.

Dike, however, said, “so many Nigerians are exploring the great opportunities that are in MAHSA University in the areas of medicine, engineering, business, hospitality,Pharmacy, Nursing and Midwifery and many other professional courses.
