The commandant explained further that Ayuba John, a father of 23 children, also allegedly sold his 14-year-old daughter, Hajara Ayuba, for ritual purposes in Owerri Imo state, which the command was still investigating.

“Presently, we are working with our men over there to see the possibility of arresting the remaining criminals involved.

“Ayuba John has five wives but he divorced Solomon’s mother. He has 23 children; 13 boys 10 girls,” he said.

Meanwhile, Fari said, a rapist, Garba Wamba, 45, was also arrested for defiling a 10-year-old girl, explaining that the suspect had confessed to the crime.
