Man stabs neighbour to death in Ebonyi over noise pollution

A 25-year-old man, Peter Nkwuda of Ishieke village in Ebonyi local government area of Ebonyi state has been stabbed to death by his 50-years- old neighbour, Cyril Nnachi oko.

The incidence took place in his residence at Oroke Onuoha village, Ebonyi local government.

Blueprint gathered that the deceased had raised his sound system too high to the discomfort of his neighbours. Mr Cyril went and called on him to reduce the sound but he refused.

This triggered argument between him and Cyril, who angrily went into his room and brought a knife. While late Peter was still talking to him, he stabbed him at the side of his chest and Peter slumped and started bleeding.

When contacted, the police public relations officer in Ebonyi state ASP Odah Loveth, confirmed the incident and said the suspect has been arrested.

She said police visited the scene, took the deceased to federal teaching hospital Abakaliki where he was confirmed dead.
