A Kaduna based legal practitioner Barrister Samaila Abdu has urged the people of Katsina state to re-elect Governor Aminu Bello Masari in Saturday’s gubernatorial election to enable him consolidate on the gains recorded in the state.
Speaking to Blueprint Tuesday in Kaduna, Samaila said that Masari has performed creditably well in the last three years since assuming office when compared to previous administrations that failed to provide meaningful development for people of the state.
He said the governor has been described by many as a great transformer, visionary leader, focused, prudent man, who believes in transparency, sincerity and accountability.
According to him, if past leaders were sincere and good managers of the state’s funds and have the love of the state at heart like Masari, Katsina state would have developed more than what it is today.
“Hopefully, the good people of Katsina state should come back and vote massively for him in order to enable him continue with the good work he started.
“Katsina state has never had it as good as it’s currently witnessing under the current administration of our amiable governor. Since 2015 the state has witnessed transformation in all sector of its economy which includes transformation of educational sector, health sector, agriculture and road construction.”
He said these achievements were witnessed within the three years period of Masari administration saying that he deserves a second term to consolidate on these gains and even do more.
