Major roads in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) would be closed as a result of the May 29 inauguration of the President-elect, Bola Tinubu at Eagle square Abuja.
This was disclosed in a short statement on Thursday, May 25, 2023.
The statement read, “Fireworks will take place at City Gate and the Millenium Towers by 12:01 a.m. on May 29, 2023.”
The roads to be barricaded are;
- Goodluck Jonathan by the Court of Appeal
- Deeper Life Junction,
- Bond/Total Filling Station,
- POWA/FCDA Junction,
- Finance Junction by ECOWAS/Women Affairs,
6 Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
7 Eagle Square (Phase 1 & Phase 11),
8 Kur Muhammad Way / National Mosque,
9 Abia House,
10 NITEL Junction, by Ademola Adetokunbo,
11 Gana Junction/Transcorp,
12 Bayelsa House, by the Federal High Court,
13 Aso Drive,
14 Ceddi Plaza
15 NNPC Twin Towers and
16 NNPC/NBS.
