The Zamfara State chapter of Sport Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has inaugurated a seven man Local Organizing Committee to conduct a hitch free GUSAU/AHLAN Media Cup competition in the state.
This is contained in a statement made available to Blueprint signed by the state secretary of the union Daniel Kefas Dogon Yaro Thursday.
The statement noted that Dahiru Samaila Mafara will serve as Chairman of the committee while Aminu Abubakar Mayanhi has been appointed as co – Chairman respectively.
Other members of committee included, Adeyeni K Salaudeen, Representive from FA, Member
Representative from Zamfara Sport council, Husainni Gambo, while Abubakar Tsalha Almajir to serve as Secretary respectively.
However, the chairman of the state chapter of the SWAN, Murtala Rabiu Dabbakal the committee was mandated to organize a hitch free competition and ensure all the relevant stakeholders of the association are adequately inform.
Rabiu further stated that, activities will commence from Thursday, 25th May, 2023 with groupings in which all heads of media organizations are expected to grace be around at the NUJ Press Center by 11am prompt.
