Military neutralize 5 top Boko Haram leaders

 

Nigerian Army and the Air Force neutralised five top Boko Haram terrorists leaders and some of the group members during artillery and air strikes on some terrorists locations.

Top terrorist leaders killed during the operation, according to statement from the Army spokesperson, Brig. Gen. Sani Usman, include:  Abu Dujana, Man Tahiru (Deputy to Boko Haram terrorists group Hisba leader), Man Chari, Malam Abdullahi Abu Sa’ad and Goni Bamanga.

The army hit the terrorists’ hideouts with multi-barrel rocket launchers after it had received and confirmed information about their locations, the spokesperson said.

He said Video clips obtained on battle damage assessment showed “clear success of the exercise. More details of successes achieved will be made available as the operation continues.”

“The Nigerian military would continue with the concerted onslaught on the reported Boko Haram terrorists’ location till they have been eliminated,” Usman said.
