Minor cabinet reshuffle: Bello redeploys, appoints Aides

Kogi state Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello on Wednesday approved the redeployment and appointments of key officers in his administration.

This was contained in a government house press statement signed by Onogwu Muhammed, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, made available to newsmen in Lokoja.

The statement said Hon Isah Omade, former deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor is now Special Adviser to the governor on Research and Development, while Victor Oke, former Director of Protocol to the former Deputy Governor will now serve as Special Adviser to the Governor on Internal Revenue.

Other redeployment includes; Hon Ugbeda Benjamin, former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Deputy Governor on General Duties now SSA on Administration, Strategy and Planning, Hon Stephen Ugbeda, former SSA to the deputy governor on Political and Domestic Affairs now SSA on Ethnic and Cultural Integration.

Muhammed said, in the letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr  Folashade Arike Ayoade, the governor has also approved the following appointments into the office of the deputy governor.

They include, Sunday Faleke Deputy Chief of Staff, Jibrin Abu Director of Protocol, Sunday Ohiemi SSA on Special Duties, Felix Solomon Omachoko SSA on Political Matters, Haruna Sule SSA on Domestic Affairs and Prince Amana Ameh SSA on Media and ICT Matters.

Others are, Suleiman Mazai Farooq SSA on Security Matters, Emmanuel Promise Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Abogede Victor Personal Assistant, Hussein Ataja Special Assistant, Adeniyi Oluwatosin, Official Photographer, Andy Okpe, official cameraman

According to Muhammed, the governor also approved the following appointments to the office of the Chief of Staff, Oshaloto Tade Joseph, Personal Secretary, Abubakar Mujaheed, Special Assistant, Otokiti Alhassan Zakariya, Personal Assistant, Owuda Rufai Special Assistant Shaibu Muhammed Special Assistant.

According to  the deployments and appointments takes effect from 22nd of October, 2019.
