MIPD: PDP national youth leader makes 100 most influential Africans’ list

The National Youth Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Muhammed Kadade Suleiman, has been listed among the top 100 Most Influential Persons of African Descent (MIPD) in the world.

PDP’s 26 years National Youth Leader bagged the 2022 Global Top 100, under 40 MIPD Award in recognition of his contribution to the development of Nigeria’s democracy and governance inside Africa.

MIPD award is under the International Decade For People of African Descent 2015-2024 with the support of the United Nations (UN).

Suleiman who was listed alongside several other Africans hails from Kaduna State, Northwest Nigeria was elected the PDP National Youth Leader at the age of 25 years.

The PDP National Youth leader at the 2021 National Convention of his party in Abuja garnered 3,072 votes to defeat his closet rival who scored 219 votes

The award to the organisers reflects Suleiman’s influence as a young political mobiliser with a very strong network and connection, especially in northern Nigeria.

MIPD award profiled Suleiman as a very influential source of inspiration that has reawakened the interest of Nigerian youths in governance and political participation ahead of 2023 general elections.

Superman as he is fondly known is a former governorship aspirant in Kaduna State.

He has remained a strong voice in youth development in Nigeria.
