Miyetti Allah commends Al-Makura for Peace building

 

As Nasarawa state Governor Umar Tanko Al-Makura turns 65, the National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, a Fulani socio-cultural association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo, has commended the governor for promoting peace and dialogue as the preferred options for changing the fortunes of the state.

Bodejo, in his congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Tudun-Wada, Karu local government area of Nasarawa state, said that Al-Makura has done well in bringing all ethnic groups together in the state.

He said for the past six years, Al-Makura had tried in many ways to touch the lives of the people of Nasarawa state, noting that he had assisted the Fulani pastoralist and put to an end the incessant crisis between farmers and Fulani herdsmen.

He also said that the massive infrastructural drive in the state under the leadership of Al-Makura have helped in attracting investment into the state and Nigeria at large.

“The Fulani pastoralists in Nasarawa and other states wish to congratulate you, Governor Al-Makura, for your 65 years on earth. We are proud to identify with you and commended you for your peace accord in the state”, the statement added.

Bodejo called on all Fulani pastoralists living in Nasarawa state to continue to support the administration of Al-Makura in order for him to succeed more.

The Fulani leader reiterated the commitment of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore toward the governor’s peace building in the state.
