Mobile cash transfer: Bizi mobile partners Kaduna to train 50 women

Bizi Mobile has partnered with Kaduna state government to train 50 women on mobile money transfer, the state Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Hafsat Baba Mohammed has said.
Addressing the 2018 CBN “Fair and Sensitization” held in Kaduna, Hajiya Hafsat, said it is high time to empower more women in the state especially in digital development so that they can benefit from the result of technological advancement, adding that the State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai is a man versed in ICT and will want more of his people to follow suit.
She said, the 50 women will be selected from the 23 local government of the state and that they must have been practicing a trade or business. Hafsat explained that after training the women will become mobile cash transfer agents of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) earning income for themselves and their families.
Chief Executive Officer Bizi Mobile Cashless Consultant Ltd, Aminu Bizi commended Kaduna state government for supporting the development of technology in the state.
He stressed that mobile cash transfer business can create millions of jobs for Nigerian without any problem, while calling on other Nigerians to key into the mobile cash transfer business.
“The world is moving toward a cashless society and mobile cash transfer business is the order of the day, so I advise our people not to be left behind. With a mobile phone you are already equipped to start your own mobile cash transfer business, all you need is just training from our staff and you will have a new source of income.
The CBN branch controller Kaduna, Alhaji Shehu Saleh said “it is important to note that all the diverse initiatives of the Central Bank of Nigeria are geared towards the economic growth and development of the nation.
“This can only be achieved when stakeholders and the public are fully aware of these initiatives for optimal utilization. CBN is committed to promoting financial literacy among Nigerians.”
