Mohammed’s death, a great loss –Senator Gaya

Late Ustaz Musa Mohammed, the Imam of National Mosque Abuja, has been described as a role model, an icon of peace and a bridge builder between the old and new generation of Nigerians who believe in the unity, oneness and development of the country.
Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya (APC Kano South) and senator elect stated this in a statement signed by his Personal Assistant on Media and Strategy, Prince Idris Afegbua over the death of the clergy.

The former Kano State governor said that the death of the Islamic preacher was more painful because at this time of transition in the country, his fatherly role is most needed. The former Kano number one citizen said that the late Mallam was like a father to him adding that the death was a great lost because of the vacuum being created by his exit as his nationalist posture is un-apparelled.

Senator Gaya also said that the death of the preacher is not a lost to only his immediate family but the Abuja faithful and the entire Muslim world. He pray for the soul of the departed and consol the family and Nigerian Muslims for the great lost.
