Monarch applauds Buhari for award of national honours to COAS


The District Dead of Sifawa in Bodinga local government of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari Tambari, MON has applauded President Muhammadu Buhari for the award of national honours of CFR, to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Faruk Yahaya.
Alhaji Muhammadu Buhari Tambari said the national honours conferred on the Chief of Army Staff is a testimony to the fact that the COAS is doing a great job in securing the country from the problem of insecurity bedeviling the nation, and therefore thanked President Buhari on behalf of the entire people of Sifawa district for the award.
Speaking during community peace stakeholders meeting in his palace Bodinga, the monarch said the new proactive strategy of attacking the insurgents at their base as well as accepting the repentant ones is yielding a positive results.
On the welfare of soldiers and renovation of army facilities across the country as well as provision of arms and machineries to soldiers at the war front, the Monarch scores the COAS high.
Speaking specifically on military operations launched to fight insurgency in the north, the monarch says, “the troop of the operation safe haven are doing great work and I believe with more prayers by Nigerians the banditry issue will be a thing of the past, people will soon go back to their farms and continue their normal economic activities.”
Tambari therefore solicits the cooperation of the governments at all level for the successful implementation of the Chief of Army Staff mandate.
