Monarch lauds Bello on commissioned Ohinoyi palace 

The Ohindase of Okenegwe, HRH Chief Stephen E. Bello has commended Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello on the recent commissioning of an ultra-modern Ohinoyi of Ebira palace and referral hospital in Okene.

The Ohindase, who was a former vice chairman of Ebira area traditional council, gave this commendation,Wednesday in Okengwe, Okene LGA while marking his 46th year anniversary on the throne.

The monarch,  who described the new Ohinoyi’s palace as a symbol of Ebira unity, also commended the governor for according traditional rulers across the state due recognition as demonstrated by the last mass grading/upgrading of traditional rulers in the state.

He then seized the opportunity to pray for the governor and the Ohinoyi, HRM Dr Ado Ibrahim, for ensuring peace and unity in Ebiraland.

The royal father  also used the marking of his 46th anniversary to turban three illustrious sons of Avi clan to assist him in the day to day running of the affairs of his domain.

Also speaking at the anniversary ceremonies, the Ohi Okene HRH, Alh. Isah Mamman, while congratulating the Ohindase, urged other traditional rulers in the area to learn from his leadership qualities that has endeared the Ohindase to his people.

He then charged the newly installed title holders to use their new positions to serve the community.

Earlier in his welcome address, the chairman of the occasion, Hon. Usman Okorongo, thanked guests for gracing the anniversary and prayed for their peaceful return.

The three title holders that were turbaned are Mr. Moses Sariki Apata (Ohi Orema of Avi), Mall. Muhammed Eneji (Ohi Azuwa Idome of Avi) and Mall Dansaki Haruna Arukutaku (Ohi Ameberogu of Avi).
