A mother and her two children were on Saturday evening met their untimely death in a shop in Ogbomoso town, Oyo state when they were crushed to death by an SUV car.
The woman, a plastic seller and her two children were said to be inside the shop relaxing when a Mitsubishi SUV car with registration number LND 69 AR, lost control and headed into the shop, killing all three persons in the shop.
It was gathered that others in the nearby shops also sustained serious injuries in their efforts to escape being crushed by the said SUV car.
An eye witness account said the driver of the SUV car lost control when the car reportedly developed brake failure while on motion beside Crown FC hostel along Ogbomoso Parapo Oja Tutun road.
The witness said the two children and their mother died on the spot while the driver of the car sustained serious injuries.
According to the witness, it took residents of the area about an hour before the dead bodies of the trio could be recovered from the scene of the accident.
It was learnt that the auto crash was later reported to the police in the town.
According to the eye witness, all those that sustained injuries during the accident were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
