A woman, her three children and eight others, Tuesday, died in ghastly motor accident at Ogodumu on the Otukpo-Adoka road in Benue state. The passengers were onboard a bus to Abuja.
Blueprint learnt that six persons survived the tragic accident but sustained various degrees of injuries.
It was further learnt that the incident occurred in the afternoon after a truck lost control and rammed into a fully loaded bus that was going to Abuja.
The State Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Mohammed Suleiman, confirmed the incident.
Suleiman said 12 people were killed while six others sustained varying degrees of injuries.
“Yes, I am aware the accident happened, twelve people died while six others sustained varying degrees of injuries, he said.
