Muslims tasked on fear of God

By Usman Ibn A. Lapai

Muslims have been enjoined to imbibe the fear of the Almighty Allah in their daily activities.
Speaking at a 40-day Fidau prayer organised by the Kaduna state Independent Petroleum Marketers Association for the repose of Captain Sabo Sambo in Kaduna, an Islamic cleric, Immam Mohammadu, said the call became imperative in view of the happenings all over the world.

The cleric said the “only thing that can save any human being from Allah’s anger is to get closer to God and to always remember that there is death and everyone would taste it because it is inevitable. He prayed to Allah to grant the young Sambo Alijana firadus.”
Chairman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association (IPMAN), Kaduna state, Malam Muhammad Ndakogi, described Vice-President Namadi Sambo’s younger brother’s death as “shocking” and prayed for the repose of his soul.
The prayer was attended by many Muslim clerics in the state and beyond.
