My dreams for Jalingo, Yorro, Zing federal constituency

My dear fellow constituents, since the return to democracy in 1999 our constituency has been uniquely blessed with different set of leaders after each electoral circle. With profound respect to all of them they have all contributed their widow’s mite to the development of our dear federal constituency within the context of the peculiarities of the times they found themselves in office.

My aspiration to this coveted position is propelled by the uncommon and unflinching desire to redefine representative leadership for our people, a kind of leadership that feels the pulse of the downtrodden and in touch with their needs and wants for the overall benefit of our society.

As an individual who has traversed the length and breadth of this country visiting several federal constituencies in the process, i have seen first hand how other federal lawmakers in other climes attract mind-blowing federal presence for their people ultimately improving their fortunes. And the question that always comes to my mind has been why can’t we have something like this in Jalingo, Yorro, Zing federal constituency?

Our land is blessed with massive natural and human resource potential that needs to be urgently harnessed as we can only benefit from this God given gifts if we have the right leadership that has the right mindset in place to go the whole hog and get the required results.

Year in year out tertiary Institutions across the country churn out graduates with indigenes of our federal constituency constituting a sizeable chunk. What is the current leadership doing to absorb them into the system? Allowing them to continue frolicking the streets unemployed is a recipe for all sorts of social and immoral vices. In my private capacity and by virtue of the privileged positions of governance we’ve held we have leveraged on those opportunities to mainstream our people in the civil service and other spheres of human endeavours.

We intend to go a notch higher by the special grace of God if given the opportunity to sit at the hallowed chambers of the House of Representatives.

We shall entrench a culture of justice and fairness across the length and breadth of our federal constituency by equitably distributing the much needed dividends of democracy for our people amongst so many wonderful initiatives we have in stock.

We shall by the special grace of God utilise this platform in communicating our plans for a better, more developed and egalitarian federal constituency, follow me as we embark on this journey of faith, revival and discovery for our people.
