Operatives of the Nigeria police in Edo state have arrested the General Overseer of Glory Land church Pastor Ekene Samuel for impregnating a 17-year-old Miracle Nwanbueze and subsequently aborting the pregnancy.
A deaconess in the church Mrs. Happy Johnson is also cooling her feet in the police custody for allegedly signing as surety for Miracle’s abortion
The state Commissioner of police Mohammed Danmallam who disclosed this to newsmen said police operatives swooped on the suspect after it received complaint from one Henry Aikhuaman.
Danmallam stated that the concussion and charms that were used to lure the victim were recovered from the cleric.
According to him, the victim confessed that she was impregnated by Pastor Ekene Samuel.
The CP quoted the victim to have said: “the pastor had sex with me five times in December, 2018 with charms.”
The cleric confessed to have slept with the teenager but denied responsibility for the pregnancy.
Ekene said: “I had sex with her but we have separated.
“But she came and said she was two months pregnant even when I separated from her months earlier.”
