NAHCON commends Jigawa pilgrims’ board on feeding arrangement

Chairman, National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON), Alhaji Abdullahi Muktar, has commended the Jigawa state Pilgrims Welfare Board for living up to expectation, particularly in feeding its pilgrims with quality food thrice a day.
The chairman made this known after the Arafat while inspecting pilgrims from other states in their various camps in Saudi Arabia.
He ranked Jigawa state among the best in terms of quality care of pilgrims currently performing their religious obligation in the holy land.
Muktar further told reporters that NAHCON was in an onthe-spot inspection of pilgrims’ camps to assess their wellbeing being fed by various state pilgrims boards.
He added that this year’s hajj preparation was done in good time and that the decrease in the number of pilgrims from Nigeria this year did not intricate NAHCON.
