NAHCON promises best service for 2019 Hajj

The Madina coordinator for the 2019 Hajj, Alhaji Ahmed Maigari has restated the commitment of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) to ensure that 2019 Nigerian pilgrims enjoy best services while in Saudi Arabia.

Alhaji Maigari said this at a meeting with the various service providers in Madinah in preparation for the kick-off of the 2019 Hajj.

In a statement Sunday in Abuja by NAHCON, he said the meeting was to ascertain the level of preparedness by the service providers, in anticipation of the arrival of Nigerian pilgrims to Madinah.

Alhaji Maigari told the service providers that NAHCON staff would now serve as hotel managers in each accommodation secured for pilgrims in Madinah for better service delivery.

He said the manager will also oversee the logistic needs of the pilgrims, and serve as the gateway between the pilgrims and their hotelier.

In another development, Alhaji Maigari has urged the accommodation team to consolidate on 2018 achievement.

He said “there would be no room for error this year as you cannot go below what you achieved last year.”

Responding the Managing Director, Al-Zuhdi Group, Alsied Zuhdi, promised Alhaji Maigari of the readiness of service providers to serve Nigerian pilgrims in various capacities.

General Manager, Al Andalus Company, Abdulaziz Al-Oufi, who also promised Nigerian pilgrims satisfactory services, described the arrangement by NAHCON as a welcome development.

Acting Chairman of NAHCON, Barrister Abdullahi Mukhtar Muhammad Friday urged the officers of the advance team of the commission for the Saudi Arabia to be dedicated to duty and provide good service to the pilgrims.
