Nasarawa assembly passes 59 bills in 4 years 

The Nasarawa state House of Assembly, said it has passed 59 bills and 47 resolutions in the last four years.

Speaker of the house Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi disclosed this during the 6th assembly valedictory session on Wednesday, in Lafia.

He said that the bills and resolutions passed have direct bearing on the lives of the people of the state.

He noted that the achievements of the House and that of the state government were as a result of good working relationship between the legislature and the executive arms in the state.

The speaker appreciated all the members for the wonderful co-operation given to him in the past four years. Just as he appreciated Governor Abdullahi Sule for the support he has given to the House throughout his first tenure.

He also commended the traditional rulers across the state for working tirelessly to complement the efforts of the various arms of government to foster peace and harmony in their communities..

The Speaker however, announced the passage of some bills into law. 

The bills passed into law were; A Bill for a Law to Repeal the Nasarawa State Bureau of Statistics Law No.84 of 2012 and Re-Enact Same 2022 and Other Matters Related Thereto.
