Nasarawa: Association lauds Sule over appointments

The National body of Gade Development and Cultural Association has lauded Governor Abdullahi Sule for making appointments based on professionalism and capacity to engineer effective service delivery in the state.

A statement by the National President of the association, Danladi-Ibn Umann, also commended the governor for selecting people of unquestionable characters to serve in his cabinet.

“Gade communities in Nasarawa state have thrown their weight behind the recent appointments and swearing-in of commissioners and special advisers in the state.

“We are grateful to the governor and we will continue to support his policies and programmes to succeed,’’ the statement said.

The association expressed happiness for the appointees and wished them God’s guidance and protection in discharging their duties.

The national president of the association urged the appointees from the area to bring their experiences to bear in the interest of peace and for the overall development of the area and the state at large.

Gov Sule had on November 1 sworn in 15 commissioner nominees which include Mr Dogo Shammah, the chairman of the state Nigerian Union of Journalists as the Commissioner Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism.(NAN)
