Nasarawa gets new CP

A new Commissioner of Police, Bello Ahmed, has been posted to Nasarawa state.
Before his assumption of duty to the state, Ahmed was the Commissioner of Police in charge of Homicide Section, Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (FCIID) Abuja.
A statement signed by the Nasarawa state Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Idirisu kennedy, said the new Commissioner of Police was recruited into the Nigeria Police Force on 1st January 1984 and spent several of his service years in police mobile force (PMF ).
Bello was also one time Deputy Commissioner of Police, Administration in Bayelsa and Taraba states and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operation FCT .
He took over from CP Mohammad Uba Kura, who has been posted to Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Abuja.
