Nasarawa gov’s wife donates PPE to schools


Wife of the Nasarawa state governor Hajiya Silifat Abdullahi Sule, Thursday, donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to secondary schools in the state to support in fighting coronavirus.


Speaking at the occasion in Lafia, Silifat called for effective delivery of the items.
She affirmed that Covid-19 is real, and advised people to continue observing prevention measures.
“I am calling on the beneficiaries to ensure proper use of the items, as well follow the guidelines of COVID-19,” she said.


Speaking on behalf of the principals, the ANCOPS chairman Nasarawa state, Mr. Ogiri Christopher, who expressed appreciation for the donated items which he said will go a long way in supporting the fight against COVID- 19, promised that the items will be put to judicious use.


Items donated includes washing hand basins, hand sanitizers, and liquid soap.
