All Progressives Congress (APC) senator representing Nasarawa North, Godiya Akwashiki, has assured people of his senatorial district of better days ahead, promising to hit the ground running.
Akwashiki stated this Wednesday while speaking with newsmen in Abuja.
He assured his constituents of pursuing people oriented laws at the National Assembly.
“What my constituents have seen when I was in the state House of Assembly is just a tip of the iceberg. I will do more and they will see a lot of positive changes.
“I have been in office for a quite number of years as deputy speaker and my people have seen what I have done towards bettering their lives. By God grace I will do more than what I have been doing before,” he said.
He promised not to disappoint his senatorial district and assured them of inclusive, effective, sound and quality representation in order to bring the much needed dividends of democracy to their door steps.
Akwashiki solicited for prayers, fruitful advice and support to enable him succeed.
The senator, who appreciated his campaign council, supporters and other well wishers who came to celebrate with him during his inauguration, prayed God to reward them abundantly.
