Nasarawa lawmaker assures constituents of improved living standards

A member of the Nasarawa state House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Muluku, has assured his constituents of his commitment to improving their living standards.

Muluku, representing Nasarawa Eggon East constituency, gave the assurance Tuesday when he hosted the Akwanga branch of Ogba Youths Movement in Lafia.

The lawmaker said that since the state Assembly Election Petition Tribunal and Appeal Court had reaffirmed his election, he would now concentrate on  bringing development to the people.

“I want to thank you for the visit and to assure you of my continued readiness to key into good policies and programmes that would  have direct bearing on the lives of the people of my constituency .

“We are through with the electoral and legal processes and the time of politicking is gone. It is now time for governance.

“I want to use this medium to call on you, other people of my constituency and the state at large, to support Gov. Abdullahi Sule to succeed”, he said.

Muluku also enjoined the group to always see themselves as agents of positive change in their communities and across the state.

He thanked his supporters for praying and standing firm with him during his campaign and the litigation process.

The lawmaker promised effective and quality representation at the legislative body.

The leader of the delegation, Mr Malle Moses, said that the visit was to congratulate Muluku on his victory at the courts.

Moses, a former Administrator of Akun Development Area of the state, appealed to the lawmaker to complete the electrification project at Ogba ward.

He said the project was meant to enhance socio-economic activities in the ward.(NAN)
