A member of the Nasarawa state Assembly representing Karu/Gitata constituency, Alhaji Hashmu Jibrin Gurku has called on Nigerians to accord the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari unflinching co-operation and support, especially in its dogged effort for an egalitarian society through the much amplified change.
According to a statement released by his media office in Karu, Gurku said President Buhari is a God-sent to Nigeria to deliver its citizens from oppression, underdevelopment, corruption and threat to national security which characterised the 16-year ruled of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The lawmaker said Buhari has recorded tremendous achievements in the areas of security, anti- corruption, youth employment and socio economic growth since his assumption in office.
Jibrin Gurku, however, appealed to the federal government to complement the effort of Umar Tanko Al-Makura’s administration in the provision of social amenities in his constituency, by increasing the state monthly federal allocation to the state, stressing that the call became imperative considering the daily influx of people to Karu local government which is very close to the Federal Capital Territory.
