Nasarawa speaker donates N15m items to constituents

Speaker Nasarawa state Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi has distributed items, including scholarship, sewing machines and wrappers worth N15 million to his Umaisha / Ugya constituents.
While distributing the items at the weekend in Umaisha development area of the state, the speaker assured the people of his readiness to continue to initiate more people oriented programmes that have direct bearing on the lives of his constituents.
The speaker also presented N30, 000 each to 100 women of his constituency to enable them start petty business of their choice in order to better their standard of living and that of their family members.
Ibrahim-Abdullahi also distributed 12 refrigerators and 12 generating sets to 6 women leaders and 6 assistant women leaders in the six electoral wards of his constituency to enable them enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Similarly, the lawmaker presented N20, 000 each to 100 students of his constituency, 65 sewing machines and over 700 wrappers to the women.
It could also be recalled that, on December 16, the speaker distributed scholarship , modern flying boats, vehicles among other items worth N14 million to the people of his constituency apart from the motorcycles, boreholes , other empowerment programmes he also initiated.
Responding on behalf of other beneficiaries, Usman Sidi, a student of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, thanked the speaker for the gesture.
