The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), the National Power Training Institute of Nigeria (NAPTIN) and other Organisations in different sectors of the economy have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop the economy in meeting international standard.
Speaking, the Chief Executive Officer NASENI Professor Mohammed Sani Haruna said the collaboration will guarantee a successful research output to see the light of the day.
He made this statement during the signing of MoU with 8 key organizations in different sectors of the economy on Tuesday, in Abuja.
“This general MoU with so many Organisations first and foremost with so many Organisations is informed by the need and compelling reason to have synergy in the areas of research and development (R&D) and also this type of collaboration will guarantee our effort to commercialise successful research output to see the light of the day.
“As you can see the presence of academic institutions whom will jointly research in many areas that we are already doing, will just formalise and have a document as a guide to what we are doing,” Haruna added.
