NASFAT empowers 19 women, youth with working tools

An Islamic organisation, NasrulLahi-L-Fatih Society of Nigeria (NASFAT) has empowered 19 youth and women in Kaduna with various working tools such as industrial sewing machines, three deep freezers, sewing materials, mechanical tools, food stuff and cheques among others.
According to the organisation, they received 50 requests but had so far replied 19, while efforts are ongoing to cater for the needs of the remaining 31 people from their zakat.
Chairman of the Zakat Committee, Usman Abdulrasaq Zulqurnain, said the 50 letters of request received were from members and non-members of NASFAT.
“This was not the first time the committee is empowering people.
The cheques amounting to N1.5 million including items distributed are all from money generated through the Zakat’s account.
It is a programm the society Insha Allah would sustain.” One of the beneficiaries, Hajiya Lateefat Abdulrasaq, who was given an industrial sewing machine said:” I am very happy about this gesture and I pray that God Almighty Allah continue to bless NASFAT and all its members.” “The Zakat system helps to make sure the society’s wealth circulation is in a fair and clean condition.
If everyone will need to pay Zakat, no poor or the unfortunate would have to involve in the begging.” The Nasfat Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Inuwa Kabeer Bello and Kaduna Branch Chairman, Engr.
Muhyideen Yusuf had pledged NASFAT continuous stride in assisting to better the lives of not only members of NASFAT but the generality of Muslim Ummah in the society.
The Chief Missioner, NASFAT Kaduna branch, Imam Marooph Muhammad Raji pledged the continual pursuance of NASFAT’s mission and vision through the collective spiritual know-how of the mission board members.
