The leadership of the National Assembly Legislative Aides Forum (NASSLAF) has rolled out a list of standing and ad- hoc committees to be inaugurated for effective and efficient discharge of the fundamental objectives of the body. The executive body of the National Assembly Legislative Aides, led by Sam Melaye, released the committees in a statement it issued in Abuja on Thursday.
According to the statement issued by the by Chairman of the Forum, the committees are Finance, Welfare, Publicity, Disciplinary and Research under the standing categories.
The statement further revealed that those to be constituted as ad-hoc committees are the ones for Merit Award, Sports, Constitution Review and Budget.
Melaye also noted that for the committees, membership would be constituted with one member from each of the six geopolitical zones and a chairman.
Consequently, the Forum in the statement listed names of chairmen and members of some of the committees such as Disciplinary and Research and Development under standing committees.
