National Division 1 Volleyball League: Kada Kings, Kwara Utd maintain 100% record

 

Hosts Kada Kings and Kwara United sustained their winning start to the 2021 National Division 1 Volleyball League ongoing at the Gymnasium Hall of Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna with their second victories of the league. 
Kwara United defeated Team Oyo 3-1 in a tough encounter, as the Oyo state volleyball Club gave Kwara United Volleyball Club a good fight but eventually succumbed to the spiking prowess of the Harmony boys.


Kwara United defeated the Oluyole warriors of Oyo state 25-11, 23-25, 25-13, 25-17 to maintain a winning streak at the 2021 National Division 1 Volleyball League.
Kada Kings, who are hosting the League maintained their 100% record after beating hard fighting Katsina United 3-1 (25-15, 21-25, 25-13, 25-21) in a local derby of the men’s category of the League.

JVC of Bauchi whipped Caliphate Spikers of Sokoto 3-0 (26-24, 25-22, 25-18) in another day two tough encounter of the men’s League. The match brought out the best in both sides but JVC edged Caliphate at the end.
Katsina United shook off their derby loss to Kaduna to defeat Equity Spikers of Kebbi 3-1 (25-16, 25-17, 19-25 and 25-10). Caliphate Spikers of Sokoto later white washed Spartan Spikers of Yola 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-23) in the men’s category of the weeklong tournament.
