NDE trains Plateau graduates on solar installation

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has been commended for impacting skills as well as empowering unemployed youth in Plateau state.

The commendation was made Tuesday, by some beneficiaries of the directorate’s training of a set of 25 unemployed graduates in Plateau on solar power installation and maintenance.

Mr. Hosea Meshak, who spoke on behalf of the trainers, appreciated the agency and the federal government for the opportunity.

“We are happy that the NDE introduced the programme and also being lucky to be picked for his empowerment.

“We promised to utilise the knowledge that will be impacted in us, which will be for our benefit and for the nation at large,” he said.

The state coordinator of NDE, Malam Ibrahim A. Ardo, said the directorate is undertaking training in partnership with an Abuja based graduate school.
