Cross River state governor, Senator Ben Ayade has been nominated for the Niger-Delta ICON and Dynamic Award, 2020 as the Outstanding Governor in Niger-Delta Region of Nigeria.
In a letter of award notification signed Ekwo Precious, the project Consultant, NDIDA 20′, Ekwo Precious and the Project Lead Strategist, NDIDA 20′, Goodwin Smart, they explained that Governor Ayade was chosen for the prestigious award as a result of his consistent demonstration of an “attitude of excellence, highest standard of ethical conduct, integrity, Civic social responsibility,* over the years.”
The notification letter also disclosed that the choice of the charismatic governor of Cross RIver was carried out through “open nominations, testimonies given by different people who were interviewed randomly by our scouts and confirmed after a careful scrutiny by a team of professionals put together to form our screening Board.”
Stating further the purpose of the award, the NDIDA team asserted that the choice of the Cross River State Governor is done purely out of merit and honour due to a man who deserves such honour and that it is completely devoid of any political, religious or ethnic colorations and sentiments.
It is estimated that the award ceremony expected to come up sometime in February, 2020 in Cross River State will draw not less than 2000 persons including the Creme de la creme of the society from all over the country to attend the event in the ancient city of Calabar.
NDIDA further disclosed that the group equally”seeks to recognize and celebrate not just pacesetters but acknowledge the contributions made by persons of your caliber to their home State, state of residence, Niger Delta and our dear country at large.”
