Former Nigerian international, Daniel Amokachi has named the duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Osimhen as his best players in the present Super Eagles team
Amokachi who is Nigeria Football Ambassador said the Leicester City defensive midfield Wilfred Ndidi as his best Nigerian player because he displayed good qualities and is consistent in the English Premier League.
The former Everton man was responding to questions from callers on his radio programme ‘ The Bull’s Pit’ about his top four Nigerian players and the former Super Eagles coach did not mince words on his choice.
“I would pick Ndidi first. The young man has shown tremendous quality for Leicester City and has been consistent. He is my first choice. I also would pick Victor Osimhen who plays for Lille in the French Ligue. He has been amazing and was very hot even before the break we are observing now. He knows how to score, and how to play the game and has great speed too,” Amokachi said.

The former Club Brugge goal merchant, however, charged Villarreal CF winger Samuel Chukwueze to improve in his game as he has not lived up to expectations this season but believes he has the qualities to be among the top players in the world.
Amokachi picked only three players but mentioned Sadiq Umar of Partizan Belgrade who has also been impressive this season.
